At its inception in September 1991, Soclima presented itself as a challenging company of the socio-economic difficulties then, looking for its own space in the areas of trade and installation of ventilation and air conditioning equipment.

Today, after 31 years, in addition to being a company committed to excellence, it has become a reference in this sector, with prestigious projects executed that make it very proud.

Under the theme UP HIGHER TOGETHER, Soclima attended Carrier´s anual distributers & joint-ventures meeting. A series of productive meetings, a visit to the Culoz (UTAS) factory  and some team building activities at the La Clusaz ski resort were some of the highlights that defined the event. Soclima received some of its clientes and partners for a technical seminal regarding    Toshiba VRF (SMMS-e) product. The sessions was held at its Talatona offices and ended with a friendly lunch.

SOCLIMA’s Training Center, welcomes the customer HIDROANGOLA (GRUPO CASAIS) for a Commissioning, Diagnosis and Troubleshooting course on the air conditioning systems of SAMSUNG’s FJM (Multi-Split) range.

The course taught is the first of a series of courses planned for 2017, with HIDROANGOLA being represented by its Engineering and Senior Technicians team.

Samsung has a new, compact chiller, the DVM Chiller, too. It’s an air-cooled chiller combined with VRF too. 

The company introduced because of demand for ‘water-source HVAC’, as a result of EU F-Gas level regulations. In response, Samsung made this air-cooled chiller which is more efficient, easy to use and smaller. 

The DVM Chiller uses less refrigerant than other chillers, which means it complies with 2015 EU refrigerant quota levels. It will also meet the 35 reduction due in 2018.

Samsung is excited about its ‘revolutionary DVM Chiller’. The unit delivers more than 75 percent of heating capacity at -20 degrees C ambient temperature. Samsung says the chiller can reduce energy costs by between 36 and 50 percent compared to traditional chillers.

The perfect balance between power and control, now with modules up to 22 HP – 64 kW and combinations up to 60 HP – 168 kW.

The characteristics of the new outdoor units, we highlight the compressor with innovative technology, intelligent control of refrigerant volume, optimization for heating and cooling, maximizing efficiency through precise control, easy configuration and possibility through smart phone, new design of fan blades, flexible system to 1000m long and 40m high, leak detection sensor and new systems simulation software “AIRS”.

Soclima Training Centre appears as a supplement in the services we provide to our customers. With the constantly evolving technology is vital that technicians are up to date with the latest methods and techniques installation and maintenance of our products, Samsung and Toshiba.

With experienced trainers, our training courses are targeted for installation, commissioning, faults detection and maintenance. The courses consist of a theoretical and practical component. The classes are given in our room / testing laboratory where trainees can practice on their own equipment and systems available for this purpose.

With organization of Minho Automobile Club played up this month in the circuit Vasco Sameiro (Braga – Portugal) the 10th CAM Rally Festival, opening race of the season 2016.

Having the team sponsored by Soclima achieved a creditable sixth place at the wheel of the Fiat Punto S1600.

Soclima through its Commercial Director, Yuri Cortez, is present in the seventh SAMSUNG AFRICA FORUM 2016 taking place in Monaco.

The event will be attended by the President & CEO of Samsung Electronics Africa, Yoo Young Kim. The Forum becomes relevant, in that these inventions is that the mark shows the latest innovations in different market areas.

Particularly in the climatization area, among other novelties, Samsung presents the innovative cassette 360, with a choice of round or square decorative panel.

Factory tour Carrier in Montluel – France, anticipate the presentation of new products and broadening the range of equipment distributed by Soclima.

Soclima attended this week one of the largest manufacturing units and the Carrier development. In Montluel Carrier has 32,000 m2 of factory and 4,000 m2 laboratory, offering 11 rooms for rehearsals, including a dedicated test terminal units and 3 units for refrigeration plant tests. The ambient temperature range in test cells can be controlled between -25 to 55 ° C.

A permanent team of 21 engineers and technicians to focus on three main activities: research and development, performance testing and specialized manufacturing.

Montluel is the world center for the development of refrigerated equipment to air and chilled water, the range of chillers to 50Hz.
